Family Field Day
Family Friendly Event hosted by CRA in Petoskey at Curtis Field - 1650 Standish Ave. Boyne Area Skate Park will have a merchandise booth and will assist CRA in the events. There will be craft areas, relays and challenges, and outdoor activities. Bring your chairs, blankets, suncreen, umbrellas, etc. Food will be available. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
BASP @ Stroll the Streets
BASP will have a merchandise/Fundraising booth at Stroll the streets. You can find us near the corner of Ray St. and Lake St. Unfortunately will will not have the skate features during this event. We would love to see you, stop by and say hi. Donations always appreciated.

4th of July Parade
We would love to have you show your support by walking or skating with us in the Boyne City 4th of July Parade! We line up at 9:30am typically at the Early Learner’s building parking lot/playground area. We will be handing out logo pens to parade watchers while walking or skating during the parade. We will have 4 sign holders and the rest of the people will skate or walk and hand out pens.
If you would like BASP merchandise to proudly show your support while walking in the parade we do have tee shirts, tank tops and hats that have our log on them. You can find them in our Merch tab or contact us to preorder and we will arrange to get it to you. Sizes in certain styles are limited.
Shred the Stigma Mental Health Weekend
SHRED THE STIGMA: Surf the Earth's Mental Health Weekend is scheduled for April 4-6, 2025, at Boyne Mountain Resort located in Boyne Falls, Michigan. This three-day event focuses on promoting mental wellness through various activities, workshops, and community engagement.
This weekend promises to be enriching and supportive, offering tools and resources to enhance mental health and foster community connections.
BASP will have an informational booth about our mission to construct a public skate park in Boyne City. We will have merchandise and opportunities to donate.

Karaoke @ Muskrat Distilling
Join us Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Muskrat Distillery for a Karaoke Fundraiser! We did this last year and it was so much fun!! Muskrat is donating $1 for each drink sold to our mission to build a skate park!!!! Hours are 4pm to 11pm. Karaoke starts at 7pm so bring your singing voice! Or bring some friends!
We will also have a raffle for a day pass to Nubs Nob!! We will have TWO winners! $5 per raffle ticket, 3 tickets for $10 and 10 tickets for $20
Board Meeting
BASP Board Members will meet at City Hall in Boyne City at 5:30pm to address agenda items. Public is welcome to attend and participation is encouraged. Current focus is on fundraising and grant writing. Applications accepted for position of Secretary.

August Board Meeting
Our monthly board meeting will be held at the Boyne City City Hall in the lobby at 5pm. All are welcome. We will be focused on the upcoming events, fundraising, grant writing, and deseminating tasks. We are still actively looking for the right candidate to fill our Secretary roll as well as Grant Writing positions.
4th of July Parade
We invite you to bring your board and skate with us in the Boyne City 4th of July Parade! If you dont want to skate, we need walkers too to hand out flyers and represent your support of Boyne Area Skate Park! This is a great opportunity for the community to see passionate skate boarders supporting the efforts of the park construction.
